Memphis, TN (Rap Newswire) — Rapper Teflon Don recently signed a phenomenal
new media deal with VIO Mobile. The partnership allows the Don of Hip Hop
to make his southern swagga available to the masses on their mobile phones
via ring tones, call tones, mp3’s videos, wall paper and anything else
that can be downloaded to a cell phone. The deal also applies to
any artists signed to his music label, Soul Star Entertainment. This amazing
development comes on the horizon of Teflon Don’s highly-anticipated new
album, God, The Government, The Game God. It’s scheduled to drop May of
2009.
The Memphis, TN native is very pleased with this arrangement, “Although
I am an independent artist, I am dedicated to running my label like the
majors. I look forward to the global opportunities my partnership with
VIO Mobile with afford me and my label. Very soon people will be able to
access Soul Star Entertainment from anywhere in the world,” says Teflon

Teflon is also optimistic about the release of his new album and is

my relationship with the Lord, my stint in the military and life on these

The release party for his new album, God, The Government and The Game,
is Friday, May 1st at the Hard Rock Café at 9:30 p.m. His first
single, “Shorty So Fine,” featuring Merse, is now going for adds.

About Teflon Don
Teflon Don began his musical career writing and producing his
own songs at the age of 16. At 18 he decided to follow in his father’s
footsteps and serve his country in the United States Army. While
stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, he continued to make music producing songs
for I&I Records. He was soon deployed to Iraq, and it was there he
earned the nickname “Teflon” Don because he took his bullet proof vest
everywhere he went--even the bathroom! Upon completion of his tour
of duty, Teflon returned home to Memphis, TN, more determined than ever
