Hard Rock Cafe Memphis Hosts 'Applause For the Clause' Benefit Concert
Event to Benefit the Global Angels Foundation
MEMPHIS, TN (Rap Newswire) December 19, 2007 - This holiday season Hard Rock Cafe Memphis invites fans to STEP UP and rock out for a cause! On Friday, December 21st, Hard Rock Cafe Memphis will host “Applause for the Cause,” a benefit concert showcasing the best local up-and-coming talent, including members of Egypt Central, 1 Akord, Cowboy Bob & The Bounty Hunters, Krysis, Inches From Falling, Life by Inches, Memphis Yahoos, Sons of 21, Surrender the Fall, Tangled in Ruin
and Tha Bank. During the event, fans will have the opportunity to pledge their support for Global Angels and STEP UP – literally – onto a Global Angels platform, where their pictures will be taken in front of the foundation’s signature angel wings, in exchange for a donation to the cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Global Angels Foundation, an innovative international children’s charity that champions the needs of children around the world. In addition, during the
event, guests will be given the opportunity to purchase Hard Rock’s limited-edition Global Angels merchandise, including the STEP UP Charity Bracelet, Global Angels Pin and Global Angels Holiday Bear, for which a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Global Angels Foundation.
